Does anyone know if the Honda 450 wheels will work on a Honda 400?

The 450R wheels are the same as the 400ex wheels.

I was just making sure, I took my Douglas wheels off last night and put the stock 450 wheels on last night and there was some play on the bolts, is that normal?

The OEM wheels use a tapered lug nut which must be used when using OEM wheels to center them on the lugs.

Thanks Jeff, can you tell me a little about toe in, camber adjustments, I just want to make sure it is right before I ride on it.

Set your toe in to around 1/4". You can only adjust camber if you have aftermarket a-arms.

Hey Jeff,

What do you mean by 1/4"? I have Laeger's A-Arms so I believe I can adjust the camber. What are the tires supposed to look like with compressed vs. non-compressed shocks?

Thats how much your wheels need to be toed in.
Not sure what you mean by "What are the tires supposed to look like with compressed vs. non-compressed shocks?"

Thanks for you help Jeff, How long would it take to get some tires shipped out? To Missouri?

It depends on which ones you want. If I have them in stock it will only take 2 days.

I was looking for a good overall tire, mainly for dirt track, possible XC. What do you recommend for a good price? I need them to go on a 10x8.

What do ya mean by dirt track? flat track? 8" or 10" rim?

Sorry about that, MX. I have 10" rims.

If your really set in stone on running the 10" rims (not a good setup for anything but flat track) then I'd go with the 20x11-10 Kenda Klaw for hard pack tracks or Kenda Knarly XC for softer tracks.

How much are the Kenda Klaw? What about with some 8" Douglas 190s?

If your going to run MX and XC than I would recommend 9" wheels.

How much for a 9" Kenda combo?

Do you know how to machine out a new bolt pattern in a wheel, or do you know anyone that does?

Any machine shop with a tree mill can do that for ya.
