200 acre atv track.

Well I wanted to get a cheap atv but my parents have said no because I cant ride it anywheres. But now my small city is making a place to ride, 200 acres. It will be sweet, hardly anyone there except for a few friends, and I wont get in trouble! I live in Iowa by the way.

Lastly, how big is 200 acres? I know its big but im a city boy and I need some of you farmers to help me out (no offense).

put it this way, the trails we rode at near us were about 5,000 acres. we would ride 40 miles every sunday and we barley rode the same trails. it was allways new stuff. ;)

I agree.. My parents own 180 acres and it didn't take long for it to get old. :(

you guys are lookin at it the wrong way...

i wish i had 10 acres to ride on that was legal! i'm sick of running from the cops... its almost unheard of for a town to do something like this... the insurance alone to run a place like that would be crazy! then u have to enforce it to keep the jerks out...

i wish my town would do something half as cool as that... even if it was a field i'd be happy... its a step ahead for the ATVs... and one down for the tree huggers...

200 acres is quite a bit of land. The cornfield behind my house is about 33 acres. The one to the side of the house is about the same size, and the one across the highway is about 3/4 that size. Right there you've got right around 90 acres, which is less than half the acreage you've got to ride on. Since you're a city boy, I think you'll be pleased with the land.

Remember, it will be enough land to get you out of the city, and enjoying the sport of ATVing.
