question about motors

how old of a motor can i get before i need to replace the bearings and other stuff like that

That really depends on what was done with the motor? Was it abused? Ridden hard? Modified?

all i have is the rolling chassie
i will be buying a new motor and am wondering how long do the bearings in the bottom end last. i dont what to replace them

sold botton end and cylnder

head and valve cover are wrecked
so buying a used motor and droping a 440 into it

if your going to put a 440 kit in it.. you need to put in a new aftermarket bottom end anyways.. cause the stock bottom end wasnt meant for that kind of power and you dont wanna throw a rod...
