yfz shocks?

hey,

I want to get shocks for my 2003 kfx but i dont want to spend alot of money on after market ones. People tell me that yfz shocks bolt right onto kfx's and z's w/o any modifying and are alot better than the kfx shocks. Is this true and do they bolt right up?/

dont know about the yfz shocks,but trx450r stock shocks fit the 400ex and kfx/z400 fine, you just need to grind alittle off the top of the shocks to get them to clear.

If you are looking for a good budget shock keep your eye out for some factory take off's from the 05 z400 these are a good stock shock. This shock can be rebuild, revalved and resprung to a triple rate.

Yea, i know, ive just givin up arguing with people about these stupid conversions, noone seems to get that parts arent universal.

Just trying to get my point across. There are too many new and younger riders on this site that get bad info, I'm just trying to make sure they don't get hurt and waste their money.

if i were you i would look for some '05 kfx takeoff shocks really a good shock just like the 450R they can rebuilt and completely changed around:cool:

got the 450r shocks bolted them on seem to work fine to me.
