Sterring stem drain hole

Is the steering stem supposed to have a drain hole in the bottom? When I set my 450R up on the grab bar to load in my truck gas runs out of the stem from where the overflow has leaked gas into the stem. Im asking because I loaded my 250R and 250X the same way and never had this happen.

Mine did the same thing when I had the stock steering stem...

It does have a drain hole but it's probably full of mud. Also, that's probably mostly water coming out of the stem and if you still have your vent line in the stem, your getting a shot of water in your tank. Pull out the vent line when you stand it up.
