What chain lube is safe to use on my stock chain. Is the stock chain an O-ring chain. I dont know the difference between chains so if someone can explain it to me i would appreciate it. I need to know ASAP because im going to pick up some lube sometime some tonight or tommorow morning. Also can anyone tell me an exact oil (brand, weight) to use in 70-90 degree weather.

I use just the Honda HP chain lube and prefer it over the Maxima chain wax, or golden spectro. Those are the only three I've used and I like the honda the best.
As far as oil any 10-40 type oil should do, but its going to be a preference as far as brand, you might even use something a little more viscous like a 20-50 too.

Use Bel Ray Super Clean chain lube. Good stuff.

right after you clean your quad, use wd-40 on the chain, its all you will ever need

wd40 is fine to use. i've used it on all my chain-driven quads for years with no signs of premature wear.

white lithium grease is a good lube.

Bel-ray chain wax. clean off the chain while its still warm with kerosene wipe it dry and then srpay that stuff all over it. I reccomend putting a paper towel under the chain where you are spraying cause if you dont the stuff is almost impssible to get off.

I have also never had a chain break because of wear. The only time i had one break is when i lost my swingarm skid (and didnt know it) and smashed my chain on some creek beds rocks.......and wham! hahahahaha:eek2:
