First of all here are the mods done to the bike. 416 JE 11:1 or so, Web 450 451 cam, Mike boone porting, full exhaust, jetted carb, K&N filter, crf timing chain. The bike has ran awesome since the rebuild. No ticking at all. Then almost at the end of a drag race the thing just died. Then when I cranked it over it was kind of cranking slow. Towed it to truck then it started, but has a loud ticking noise now. I checked the valves, tensioner, and timing. Thought maybe I would get some opinions before I tear it all the way down. Sound like most of the noise is from the timing chain side. Sound kinda like the guy on here with the video of his making noise.

sounds like you probably jumped time,it may run but it wont run like it did before.check your cam timing

Description sounds like blowback. Either you jumped time.. or may have possibly fried a valve.

Hopefully it's one of those 2. ;)

How can I tell if I fried a valve?

^^
What he said. (comp test) Most Autoparts stores can rent you a tester for the day.

Also if you opend up that side of the engine during the rebuild.. make sure that you didn't have a bolt back off on the Stator. Seems to happen more often than it should.

Did one. 150psi and it held. I am thinking it is the exhaust gaskets. I know they are shot. Maybe the way it is leaking is causing a ticking noise down the header and making it sound like the motor. Everything else checks out perfect.
I think I would have felt the flywheel bolt loose when I timed it over and over trying to figure it out, but I will check it for sure.

if your head gasket is shot it shouldnt hold the pressure though.

Exhaut gaskets. The gaskets that connect the header to the head.

Maybe your cam bolts came loose and is rubbing on your valve cover...
