250Ex mods

Does anyone know of any modifications that u can do to a Honda 250EX. I really have a need for speed and I love challanges.

exhaust, header, nitrous ( if u really wanna), air filter, new carburetor, bored engine, port and polishing, and tuns of more stuff man

you might want to look at the 350cc and under forum... but for power theres the poweroll big bore,K&N power kit, curtis sparks exhaust, magnum rev box, and 300ex carb...... for suspension theres elka shocks, durablue axle, and herrmann +2 a-arms youll need new tires razrs, holeshots, klaws, what ever....theres nerf bars handle bars bumpers whatever you want to do...

eh, i dont think its worth it to invest all that money into a 250EX, there not really for speed as they are for just haveing fun riding a quad. I just have minor mods to mine like a pipe, K&N air filter, nerfs, bumper etc...

if you want speed might as well buy a faster sport quad...

yeah the 250EX is fun to ride and wheelie and stuff but for speed its weak...

i dont really need speed all i need is better suspension the stock suspension sucks im thinkin about getin a 400ex but im not sold on that idea cause i dont have the money for a nice one and i dont want one that will break down so for now i just got my little 250

yeah that sucks there at original price again cause of new plastics and reverse...
for the money id rathe buy a z400.

i dont know yesterday i rode my friends z 400 i didnt really like it but thats cause it was modified for his riding style and not mine.... and if i got a 400ex it would be an 04 or older im not a big fan of the new plastics..

eh i heard for 05' the z400 and kfx400 have bigger carbs and other changed specs like that... plus they were pretty nice sport quads to begin with...

ya they are nice theres just little things that i dont like about them.... you never know though i change my mind a lot so i might end up gettin one but what id really like to do is build a 400ex from the ground up

werd... i had alot of fun building my R and i would deffinitly build another quad if i had the money...

maybe something along the lines of a 440EX or Banshee. But thats of course if i had the budget...
