water pump

I just put in a new water pump impeller bearing and seal kit and the impeller seems to be pretty tight...its hard to turn. anyone know for sure if thats how its supposed to be? its really smooth but tight.

yea mime was like tyhat when i took my cover off, and i wondered the same thing... but i talked to a mechanic and he said it was fine
