drained my oil today and there wasn't any oil that came out the hole to drain the lines. so i filled it back up, started it up and pulled the plug out to see if there would be any oil to come out. there was pressure but there wasn't much oil that came out. i was wondering what the deal was because i figured that oil would pour out the hole.

You don't need to take that bolt out to drain the oil. Just drain the tank and crankcase during routine maintenance.

Yep, what MIKE400EX said, and that little bolt below the oil pipes on the clutch cover isn't a drain bolt, it's an oil check bolt to make sure you have the proper oil level. When you take that bolt out, the oil should be level with the bottom of the hole. This explains why oil wasn't "pouring out" like you thought it would ;)
