Well I just got my parts back from paint and they are SO CRAZY.. I would like to give the BIGGEST PROPS to Eddie Figus(AKA.. Figair) for the Sickest paint I have ever seen on a Lid.. I would HIGHLY recomend Eddie if you have anything that needs/want some crazy paint put on it..

Do you just sand, prime, and paint? What types of primer and paint?

I used car paint and apoxy primer on my helmat. I'm guesing Figar used similar paints.

We prepped my boss's by taking 300grit then we used a expoxy prymer, then paint. we use PPG paints, a pint of paint runs you at about 30-all the way to 100+

Make sure you tack or clean the part after sanding to get all the dust and dirt off it.

I dont what all Figair used on the lid but I do now he uses House Of Color paints..

I would save your money and send it to Figair and have him pimp out your ***** with some insane air brush work...

How much did that cost you??? Thats sick.

Well I had a bunch of different things done at the same time so it was a few bills but it all depends on what you want.. Pm Fig-Air and see what he can do for you.. You wont be dissapointed I promise you that..

Did it start with a plain helmet or was it multicolored when he started?I would love a girl looking helmet custom painted.It is a beautiful paint job the guy is gifted.How practical is that,will it scratch easy if you ride in all weather types?

This was a yellow helmet that I bought now a few years ago.. It will hold up to any kind of riding just like any other helmet will.. Actually this will last a lot longer that a stock helmet... This thing has so much clear on it.. It looks so deep that you can ride like you normally would.. He can paint you anything you want just contact him and let him know what you want...

Hey Figair not a problem.. I just wanted to post this thread because you do the sickest airbrush work around. And I wanted ppl to see what you can do... Sorry if you get overloaded in work.. But this thing is "TITS"..and I just wanted to show it off a little..

House of kolor was the paint of choice....
