Hey no problem!! I just really started gettin into this 400.. I had another.. sold it.. bought another and started building it up. I never had a 250r yet!!! The only thing left to do to mine now is the suspension and axle. I have a Durablue off my old 400 which im thinkin about throwin it in. I dont really like it wider since my trails are so tight.. he must know something we dont about 400's or his 250r's to fast for him... To wanna trade his fully modded, raced out 250r:rolleyes:.. for a 400ex? Thing looks pretty sick to me, then again I never owned or rode a 250r so my opinions weak.. I just think a modded out 250r will still beat a modded out 400.. Definetly would like to hear some true knowledge on this theory!!:devil: ;)

ive been racing supercross with this 250r... when you come out of a corner straight into a 30 foot stepup you need some torque, so im looking for a nice 400ex because i know they are good on this track... still got it ready to go if anyone has any money, please make some offers

That I agree on without a doubt.. But just outta curiosity, which do you feel is overall faster in your honest opinion? Without sayin theres a 30ft straight to a step up outta the corner? Just in general on your average track.. 250r or 400?:ermm:

well TRXOutlaw . me and JG race together.. so i can tell you our track needs alot of torque ... thats the reason why Jim wants to sell or trade his 265R . it's not that theres nothing wrong with it .. because it's in awesome condition .. it's just that he wants something with alot more torque .. yeah the R is faster overall.. but for our track a 4 stroke would just perform more better.

Hey guys whats up.. I'm sorry if I came across soundin like a jerk.. I was honestly just curious what the major differences are. From what it sounds, the 265r bein a 2stroke is pretty beastly. Then again 2strokes are mainly just revvers.. lol!! If that makes sense. But then again you have your 4stroke which is mostly low R's, bottom end grunt. Which seems to fit your track style. I never had a 250r, so thats why I really cant talk crap. I been intrested in a 250r for some time now. Is it really worth it to me is what it comes down to. I dont race, i'm mostly minor trails but homade track. Pretty wide open, long straights. My 400 doesn't really have the top-end im looking for. And thats the main reason why i ask.. 250r or 400?? But thank you guys for some of your info!!

LMFAO..I'm surprised your having trouble with that specific R in the corners into a 30 ft. table. Im not into supercross but i do ride and race motocross and im just shocked your having trouble. If i were you i'd go with a 450, Good luck on selling and your R is really nice!
