I was wondering if i could get some opinions about reeds. Im runnin deltas right now and think i can possible gain some by putting somethin else in there. Thanks in advance

deltas are good reeds, but they are more of a topend reed. boysen is more of a bottom end reed.

Alright, thanks. A buddy of mine has an R that runs amazingly strong for what it is. Some porting, pipe, K&n, jets, cool head..and hes running Pyramid reeds. anyone ever heard of them?

yea, duncan sells them. i dont hear of many people using them tho. i was goona try em out... but instead i decided on a boysen cr250 rad valve.

I ride mostly woods/trails and have tried stock trx250r, cr250r & boyesen rad valve. I think the Rad valve is probably the best with the cr250r a close second. The main bonus of the cr250r is that it is $80 for the complete assembly versus the Rad Valve which is $130...

I run the pyramid vale. I like them but I just bought the v-force to give them a try

I have the Pyramid reed valve and reeds. Duncan midrange pipe & Fatboy silencer. Stock bore with a Pro X piston and a K&N air filter. Vented air box. She's jetted right on the money. Good bottom, killer midrange and good top end. Nice and smooth. Not hard hitting at all. Excellent power delivery.

Duncan Racing. 619 258-6306 They were $165.00 when I bought them a couple of years ago. Well worth the money for me.
