who runs engine ice and how long does it last? i heard any water based coolants should be changed every 6 months , for what reason im not sure, corrorison im assuming?

When I rebuilt my bike back in Oct/Nov 2004, I put 100% Engine Ice in my rad. It seems to be working better and cooler. No signs of corrosion.:rolleyes:

The owner of Engine Ice posts on another board that I go to, so I asked him your question.
He is a good guy with a good product and here is his answer.
Engine Ice can be left in year around. We recommend that ANY/ALL coolant products (not just Engine Ice) should be changed at least once per year. For optimum results with ANY/ALL coolant products, twice a year is best. A clean, fresh cooling system is a happy cooling system
