O yea it runs. It has been sitting all winter and needs gas, a batery, the fenders were shaved a bit for the bigger tires, by the way they are 31's and the rims that they are on have been welded onto the stock rims so the stock rims act like wheel spacers.

It was built by a redneck of course they work. This summer hes gonna ditch the stacks and flip the exause manifold and have pipes commin out the hood.

No the 88 pontiac 6000 in my driveway if for a demo derby. The cavalier is just for fun in some mud and fields and stuff.

love the car, thats awesome. bit not street legal thou. i cut the top off from a chevette of my friends and painted it marker paint orange, all that was left was the winshield. you cant alter the structure of the vehicle, unless it came that way from the factory. if you didnt you need to put a full frame under it. a uni-body car is made to work together for support. once you cut the top off you messed up the support system. and the exhaust has to come out past the rear axle. but good field car.

Hmmm what about cars or trucks that have aftermarket exausts that come out before the rear tires, and there is a full sized chevy that has a nice set of twin stacks commin out right behind the cab.

if it came like that from the factory its legal, but if you modify something its not. for example my '97 ford was the first year of the "new" body style. they went away from that boxy look from 95-96 models, the exhaust came out on the passenger side before the rear tire. they were recalled up to 30,000 miles and fixed because it discolored the center cap on that rear wheel. the owner of mine never took it in so im stuck with it.
