Will another Shifter Work?

I've been wanting to get a Tusk shifter, but i can't find them for 250r's, and i was wondering if there was a bike that they do make it for that would be close enough to work? Lmk. thanks.

A CR shifter lever(not pos on what yrs, I know a 94 works) fits but it'll be too short and kind of sticks out a bit:ermm:

it would prolly work well for guys with pro-pegs cause i know i can barely hit my shifter with my pro-pegs. I also had to bend my brake bracket out a bit. Im going to weld a new one up I think. I am going to make some for a small profit and custom make them and get them Pc'ed.:macho
