Have a paid 450r o5 model, thinking of selling for a 05 rincon, reason being, the r is a awsome bike but not the best for mud boggs and rocky trial. the r is a race bike but ....... ideas, oh yea, again its a great bike but did i make a wrong choice for my wants?:(

yes. if you ride lots of mud and really rocky trails you did not pick the right quad IMO. You should take a gander at the KINGQUAD

My old man just traded his 700 sportsman on a kingquad, and he couldnt be happier. I'd definately agree on it being what your looking for.

The r isnt a muddin' quad, thats for sure, seeing as how the front wheels dont turn under their own power and all ;)

Ive used my old mans sportsman and kingquad in the mud, both great bikes, tons of power.

The rincon is a beutiful bike too, if it has to be a honda, get it. But i prefer the Kingquad...

but damn, cant imagine getting rid of my R for a 4wd

i know, i love the power and speed, when i can use it. and its paid for. im a honda man tho, king quad is belt powered, that scares me. to use the r right you got to move, and tower city pa is where i ride. and its very rocky and has alot of tight trails. when i do the hill climbs it rocks.

I have ridden tower city. I had my 450r and some of those trails is nothing but rocks. A couple of my friends had grizzly 660's with the big wheel kits and they did great. They also had tire repair kits and air compressor under there seat thank god because I got a flat tire out in the middle of know where. I hill climbs are the best part there for the 450r. That's where i will stay if i go again.

I owned a Rincon and I would not do that again. The Rincon for mudd bogging is a bad idea. I would go with the Honda Rubiconor the Yamaha Grizzly (both rode better). The Rincon weighs a ton, and has no low end torque.

I think the 450r is great for the rocks and the mud if set up right!!
I have 23" razr2 F and 22" razr2 R. and full PRM skids!

I takes quite a mud hole to get stuck, heck I have never got is stuck with with combo, but then a gain I don't go out looking for 4 foot mud holes.

And I do ride on a lot of rock to. the stock tires got slit open with in the first 2 weeks. But had the razr2 for all most a year and I set the air pressure then and never had to adjust it..(No leaks)

All i do is trial ride and in PA is Rocks or Mud. or muddy rocks!!
:D

I also have a KQ and it is a killer ride. Excellent suspension, great power and moves pretty quick on the trails. Much better than the Rincon IMO.
