I just wanted to know what works best with the r. my riding is pretty assorted. I love MX but don't get to do it much yet, so i do some trails, hills, and flat/grass. just wondering what will give the best grip for all of it. And what size rim should i use? money is tight so i have to use what i already have, an 11" i'm using now, and a 10" i would have to drill out from a raptor. i don't really like having a huge rim, so i'm thinking the 10 unless someone would sell me a complete set of two rims/tires for alot less than new. (which probly won't happen.)

i would say go with kenda gnarlies..... or else i know a local shop that has some 10 inch fast trekers. they look like they got some good bite. i know they dont want much for them. like 35 a tire.... brand new.

When you are talking about 10 and 11 not real clear if its front or back. I alway thought 10 was pretty common for the fronts so I would assume you are talking about backs(not real clear) As far as rear rim/tire combos 9" is a good all around rear rim tire size will vary. If you not doing much MX I would say a 20" tire would be good. and in the front a 21" will do. As for the brand and type that is up to because any opinion will be only personal and with that you will have to determine that on your own. Pardon my sp im alittle juiced right now

razr's or holeshots are good... I prefer razr's

but them kendas sure are gettin popular. i see more of them than holeshots out on the track now. i run razrs on my r, but i think when i get my z400, ill run kenda gnarlies on that they are also like 10... sometimes 15 bucks cheaper than holeshots and razrs
