last week i removed the entire switch asembly. i then cut of the light switches and resodered the wires needed to make the kill switch work. i have not removed the key switch yet but will after i get my tether switch. i know what to do to get the fan to work with the key switch removed but have no clue with most of the lights. right now only the kill switch is in the left hand switch container. most of the other wires are tucked out of the way. i think its just a matter of sodering two wires together but dont know which ones.

in the plug on the wiring harness for the key it the red and black wire i think, but make a jumper wire for them and cover with black tape and you back up and cooling.

maybe its just the way im wording it. the key is 100% still working with none of the wires cut. its the light switches that are giving me the problem. the fan worked fin before i took them out.

it looks like a black wire is gone, you need to re-check your set-up and make sure all the wires for the fan, red and black are tie into something.

you said tied into something. what does that mean, should i cut off all the other wires and soder the important ones together? i know a little about electrical systems, there has to be a loop created i just dont know what wires need to be conected to compleat the loop.

The red and black ones are looped if you take the key out. this will allow you to run the temp light and the fan. The black and green wires are your fan motor.black and gray is your temp light. To me it sounds like the ground isnt right.
