Hey Guys-
I was reading online about a guy with a 98 xr400, same engine at our 400ex. He mentioned that the california emissions engine used a closed crankcase and the federal emissions bike used an open crankcase but you can convert it. My 02 is a california emission 400ex, is it worth converting? I would think so but honda advertised the closed crankcase as a good thing to help lower oil consumption. Any ideas?
