PLEASE help

This may be common since and easy to some of you, but i just put on my 14 tooth front sprocket and i cant get my chain tightened back up....how the hell do u tighten this b@stard back up?

well, do you know how to actually tighten the chain? and if you are doing that and its still loose, buy a chain breaker and cut a link out..

K i know how to tighten it now, but when i roll the bike, it tightens and loosens at different times when i roll it forward and backward. Where should it be when i tighten it, and how much slack should i have? I Read that it should be about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch slack while sitting on it, is this true?

Also, do i just check the top of the chain for slack or the bottom also?

k got it tightened. We put a paint can under the swingarm skid plate to get the wheels off the ground, and tightened it right up. Just went around the block real fast, and i can tell that each gear is alittle lower but i wont be able to really tell the difference till i can hit the trails
