Elka's w/o res or Works w/ res

What is a better shock? Both are about the same price.

Elka's without a res.
Works with a res.

If you're just riding trails...and playing around...I would go with the Elkas....If you plan on any type of racing I would go with rezzies.

If you go with the Elka recreational shocks you can allows add the rezzies later.

Either was...Elka's and Work's are way better then stock.

Elka's hands down. I"ve owned both and there is NO comparison.

I only do trail riding and I decided on the Elka Recreational series based on suggestions from guys here, over the Works shocks. My Elka's are being built as we speak, I can't wait to get them!!:blah:

the elka without the rezzy will be a better performing shock over the works. Elkas have 5/8 shafts over the works 1/2" so the shafts are less likely to bend on a elka. They use shim vavling which is better than check and ball orfice. You will be happy and later you can *** the rezzy with the comp adjustment.
