i dont but try taking out the bolt and maybe putting something in the pivot hole that would make it a bit stickier. maybe take a peice of a bike tube rubber and make like a little washer with ir or maybe find a nylon washer at a hardware store.

I had this problem with my 450R. There's a spring and a little ball bearing that keeps the kick starter closed when your riding. That's probably your problem. The spring could be broke, not letting the ball bearing out. Fix your machine the right way, don't try to rig something. Go to www.planethondaracing.com' click on oem parts to see what I am saying.

Anther thing that works if you feel like putting alittle effert in it is drill and tap for a grease zerk. Most of my buddies and I have done this on our birt bikes for years. Not only does that help keep them "in" and "tight" but also keeps them moving easy and freely after years of mud dirt and sand.

I would say it is the spring and ball. My friends 450 had this problem. I think it was like 89 cents for both parts fromo honda and took about 2 mins to install, hasnt had a problem since.
