i like em.... revs faster. peeple say they stall easier but on a worked engine i doubt you will notice it.

i was wanting if it changes the reliability of the engine any because if its going to mess with the reliability it might be better to not do it does anyone know

deffinitly doesn't effect reliability, it pretty much comes down to what kind of riding you do. IMO the cr ignition is at home on the MX track, it makes the power band kind of abrupt and can be a handful in tight spots in the woods. I've heard people with big bores say that they really like them because it makes the engine rev like it has a smaller piston again. I don't have a complete cr set up but I do have a ricky stator lighted flywheel and I love it.

I have a 330 ESR topend on my bike and I was running stock ignition for over a year with the 330. A few months ago I switched over to the CR ignition and all I can say is OMFG why I didnt do it sooner. The 330 revs so much faster and revs higher RPM. I wouldn't go back to stock flywheel at all. It doesn't affect the reliability what so ever at all. Just my input.

The CR ignition come with a tiny flywheel no need to lighten your stock one. No matter how much you get taken off the stock flywheel the CR will still be lighter. The CR flywheel is like 1/3 the weight to a stock TRX250R flywheel.

yeah what methyman said, no need to get a R.S.flywheel if your getting a cr set up. something to think about though, a R.S. flywheel is 125.00 and the cr set up is between 400.00 and 500.00 but you will be getting a complete, more advanced ignition for that price.

hmmm, can you post some pics, where did you get it? a cr set up should have everything you need for an ignition.

The stator and flywheel come as a complete unit. Then you can buy the coil, cap and CDI seperatly from Service Honda or buy the complete CR ignition with the adaptor plates from ESR.
