i have one on my r... should i keept or dump it? i got a fully ported and polished 265 and decked cylinder. i just got it b4 i got all the motor work so i could have more grunt. what are the pros and cons of a spacer?

if its on already leave it. they add a tiny amount of volume to the engine, and a longer airflow path. actually the best use for the reed spacer is to make a cr intake boot fit better or to run a short style carb.

I think spacers are only good for lengthening the intake tract. I couldn't tell of any gains...

i had one on my blaster that opened it up a bit... but i couldnt tell muvh on my 250.... i heard from somebody they are bad for the engine... is this true?
