My friend just bought a 2in 450r exhaust insert and a cut in half airbox lid off of ebay. The instructions say to switch from a 118 (Stock)main jet, to a 180 and switch the pilot to a 50.
Is that a little high since stock is 118 and hes only adding a pipe insert and the airbox lid mod? When he told me that it seemed like something didn't sound right, because it says if you use the stock airbox lid, you only jet up to a 125.......So is this wrong? or No? If it is, what would be a good place to start for the jetting?
