foot brake sticking

i have a 250ex and the foot brake is sticking.... if i try to use it it will stay donw and keep the brakes on.... then when i try to go i have to pop it up with my foot (kinda like shifting into first) any suggestion on wut it might be?

you have to take the foot brake pedal out and clean the bushing and lube it. mine was doing the exact same thing and when i got it apart, there was all kinds of dirt and rust on it. works like a charm now.

Also make sure the parking brake isn't sticking.
