plastic welding

ive got broken plastics, and i was wondering if anyone has had any luck fixing their plastics using plastic welding kits?

It works ok. It doesn't look pretty. If the crack is in a hard to reach area...it probably won't work. I had a crack just behind the seat of my cannondale. It was hard to get to and I couldn't fuse it together like in flat areas. Underneath the seat, I fixed a crack and it held well. It won't hold like its new though.
