I have about 15 broken fender brackets sitting in the garage. Ive welded them, bought new ones over and over again, and they keep breaking. Does anyone know of any aftermarket brackets for the front fenders? I can live without rear brackets, but the front fenders bounce around and on the left side hits the radiator hose. I might just chop the fenders off, but I think that looks like crap. Its my wifes race machine, and she might not let me do that anyway. I can't believe those cheap little brackets are the best suzuki could do. My honda 450r brackets are all still intact.

Bare performance was making some but, to many people complained they costed to much so they stopped. I bought a set of front and rear and love them. I got tired of buying crappy stock ones that always broke. You might want to give them a call to see if they will make you a set.

I gusseted my fronts w/ 1/4" dia. rod, and on the rears I thickened up the rear flat mounting plate. So far so good.

I'll bring some to Ettrick and you Evo guys can work your magic. Dan welded one of them the other day, and of course the other side is broken now. Weak Japanese steel!! Will you be racing Saturday?

Actually Dan as well as myself will not be in attendance this weekend! Plan to hit up the pig farm and get in some practice some time to keep myself in shape, if that is Ok.

And what is up with more dirt on the way? Let's do it! I'm ready to build!

After this weekend we have a few weeks off from racing so we'll definately be practicing and you are welcome to join us.

Yup, a guy down the road is digging a pond this summer so I'm trying to get the dirt from that. We can use all the dirt we can find. You can never have too much dirt. If I can get someone in here with some heavy equipment I'm going to dig a pond too so we have a water supply for the track. We really need some bigger jumps, no doubt.

Back to the fender brackets. They always break right where they attatch to the frame. I suppose just beefing up that area would do the trick.
