Low dollar hop up for trx 450r?

I wanted to see if there are any low dollar hop up that are worth doing to my quad....let me know

slip on exhaust...airbox lid off & baffle out...rejet

so i take that out and replace it with what?
i got a pro design k/n kit i jetted it 185 no lid and put the clip on the needle jet all the way down...turned the air/fuel mixture screw 3 turns out so it rips now ....so i remove the baffle and then what? any change in jetting?

You can totally take out the baffle or put in the hrc insert. Does a 185 main jet sound alittle rich of a main jet for his mods or is it just me? I dont understand why you put the clip all the way down on your needle? If thats what runs best for you then stay with it. I've never really seen a carb that was ajusted the way yours is.

pipe,rejet,filter also i wouldnt take the lid off if you do alot of trail riding or anything in dust ..but you could drill out and put the small filters in ..

just take the end off and take out the spark arrestor and screw the cap back on for looks. a 185 sounds maybe just a little rich but i'd rather be a little rich than lean :eek2:

if 185 is too rich what do you think i should go with?

180 -185 is fine..you can fine tune from the needls adjustment and air/fuel...change out your Slow jet too
