Ok anyone seen the june issue of dirtwheels? theres a 770 raptor on nitrous:eek: but then it says "around 70 hp,+24 more on nos" is it just me or does that seem kinda weak since they claim it has all this crap done to it i mean someone has a 472 or somethin on here wit 70+ hp and that this is like 300+cc's and it has the same hp? i just thought that kinda sucked but man i bet it would RIP

It may not have the hp but what about the torque? It probaly has alot of it even though it is a crapturd....yarrrrr

But they also said they kept the RAPTOR (not craptor or rapturd or crapturd) detuned a little to keep it reliable. So they COULD have got more out of it if they wanted to. And it would definately have way more torque than that 472 or whatever.

I dont think the 470 has 70 hp. You are the only person that I have heard say that 94hp is kinda weak. 94hp would twist your little insides so far around, you wouldnt know what end to poop out of! It is stock length!

well 70 hp i feel is somewhat on the weak side myself.i have a TC racing 350x motor it's a 495 stroker that puts out 72 hp at the wheels.it's an ice racer.
but i think there is alot more power to be had in the raptor motor.the engine builders will keep tinkering and i'm sure they will find some power in the and they will continue to get more radical.the motor has the hop up potential. and right now none of the engine builders have tried anything very high tech on them.and i'm sure it's only a matter of time till they start putting out 80+ hp.
