Anyone here know how to remove the lower bushing from works shocks? Mine are shot and i need to remove the old ones but i don't know how, i have tripple rate with rezzies...if it matters. I have them disassembled to get the springs repainted and was wondering how easy should they be to compress and pull apart without the springs on them??

Are you talking bout the bushing, or the mount on the end of the shaft? Bushing just pull out. The mounts, you just push the bump stops up and use something to hold the shaft from turning, do this where the stop covers it so if you sratch the shaft it won't cut the shock seals up. Then put a cresent wrench on the mount and it just screws off the shaft. I did this and woks recommended different mounts and poly bushings.

I mean the bushing in the bottom mount. How much do they cost?

well with my stock shocks when changing bushings i used a socket (dont remember wich size) but which ever one almost perfect in there. then i took out my leather hammer and tapped it until it came out. very easy!

The bushings weren't very high, I got 2 complete ploy bushing sets, and the bottum mounts for them and I think it was under $40. I can't remember exactly.
