i currently have 22 Holeshot XCT's. the guy before me put them on and i think they are too big. i am thinking of getting 20 Razr 2's. I ride mostly woods and motocross on the weekends. is this a good choice?

I race XC, I would say 90% of my ridingis in the woods. I run 20 razr 2's and love them. i think they would be a great choice and you will like them.

You will definatly notice better hookup in muddy conditions but they will not slide because of the bigger lugs. I would recommend the 20's for XC, that is more than enough with the Razr II.

I ride in the sand pits sometimes and my kenda klaws arent working that well. I was thinking of getting Razrs for my next set of tires, but how does the Razr II do in the sand? I'm thinking the Irazr may be a better all-around choice.

I'm not sure about sand. I only ride in mud, rocks, hardpack and loose terrain. I'm guessing that they might not do that much better than the Kenda tire. For woods the razr is a great tire but you might even want to check out a sand paddle tire if the sand is that loose because a knobby tire won't be able to get the traction in sand that a paddle will. Contact Maxxis or ITP and ask them how certain tires will perform in sand.

I ride trails and some MX. I use to run Holeshots, did for years, I recently switched to Razor 2's and I will never go back. :D
