K&N filter

Yall are probably sick of my dumb questions but i did a search and i havent found anything. What do i need to do to clean my K&N filter? I know some filters your not supposed to squeeze or wutever cuz they will tear, but wut procedures should i use? I also have K&N filter oil in a can, how much should i spray on?

till it turns light pink, you'll be able to tell....dont squeeze it!-darren

i jus run it under the hose. dont squeeze it either. let it dry on its own too

K&N sells filter cleaner. That stuff is by far the best way to clean them, spray it on let it sit for about 10 mins then hose it off from inside out. After that is will turn a white/pink color, spray oil on until you dont see any white/pink anywhere. Where the fresh oil is it will be a dark pink almost purple color.

they make a K&N cleaner to spray on the filters.... let it sit for 10-15 minutes wash it with water and let it dry.... You spray some oil on it let it sit for a little bit check it if theres still white gauze then give it a little more until the whole filter is pink. Theres really no set ammount as to how much to put on it.

i use dawn and warm water... soak it and rinse it... then re oil with K&N filter oil.... DONT USE GAS!
