how hard is it to put a 400ex motor in a 300ex frame?

i can get a 400ex motor pretty cheap from a friend and want to no if i can put it on my 300ex and what mods do you have to do to get it to work?

it can be done i seen it in dirt wheeels before i do not know the mods that have to be done

With some mods the 300 will hold its own against a STOCk 400.

Not to mention the 400's suspension is way better.


The only swap I would ever think of doing with a 300ex in the 350x motor.

i wawnted to no cuz i can get a 400ex motor realy realy cheap and i love my 300ex cuz it is smaller and more for trails then the 400ex i think but i just wanted to no if i was going to get my self in to deep with the 400ex motor or not i can do some fab. on the mounts and all so how hard is it?

id say do it. if you like a project but i really think you should just go for the whole 400. Still goes great in the trails.
