Yep I use to have a stock 400 (until the mods came) and a 8 paddle was a little too much.A 7 paddle is perfect for a close to stock 400ex and a 8 paddle is like a 416.

Those paddles are prefect!

! after putting tires on my 450R. I get all the traction i can get!
I got those exact paddles. 20x10x10/ 7 paddles for $205. At rockymountainatv.com

I've tried. Cheng shins ,sand stars. sand devils,. Haulers are the best! Get them. They are good for any bike..

Haulers are probably the best paddle tire available, I have been using 8 paddles and work great for my basicaly stock 400. Many say that 8 are too many so maybe 7 are better. Hopefully i'lll have the motor rebuilt by June to make use of the 8's;) :D

what about using the 22/10/10 7 paddle hauler on a 416?

it would go fine, maybe would be a little too much power for em...I'd go with the 8 paddles if you can.

the 20x10x10 8 paddle hauler is one of the most common paddles out there, everybody uses them, and they work great, the only thing i don't like about the 20's is the ground clearence. If you put of 22x11x10 8 paddle haulers, you will be much happyer, even with a stock EX, they just trator you out of everything.

The best tire you can get is the sand geekoes....haha just kidding, they suck.
