185 main, drop the clip on the needle or get the HRC needle

Down towards the needle, it raises the needle to allow more fuel threw the main jet

nop

-Stock Pilot-
-HRC needle-middle clip-
-185 Main jet-
-3 full turns out on screw-

That's what I had with my stock carb with a Pro Design, no lid, full pipe.

Ya, the stock needle will work but you have to change the main. And it's the air/fuel mixture screw on the bottom of the carb.

Cool, you probably gained about 2 HP with increased Torque too. Next throw on a full pipe to get that air out faster to and it will rev much quicker.;)

Then get a good drop-in cam and you'll really bring that motor to life:D

For a pipe the Sparks pipe is good, Baldwin, White Brothers Carbon Pro, Roosier, HMF, etc.....

The cam depends on where you want your power. The HRC cam makes nice top end power but if you want a strong bottom/mid cam the Baldwin MX cam is nice. I had the HRC cam but changed to the Baldwin mx cam because I race mx and it fits my needs beter. On the other hand if your ripping in the dunes, drag racing, etc... the HRC might be for you. Alot of people seem to like the Hotcams stage 2 cam for the price but it feels flat to me.
