question for smart guys

how many teeth does 6th gear have for the atc bottom end and how many for the trx ???

well cant find anything on atc but 86trx top gear main shaft is 26t and counter shaft is 23t while 88 trx is mian shaft top gear 25t and counter shaft is 23t

if its an 86 atcR..it'll be the same as the 86 trx, not 100% sure about 85..

Ask Beerock! Hes been thru this and can probably tell you

so im guessing the trx has one less tooth than the atc as far as sixth gear goes?

all watercooled atc hav the same tranny as the 86-87 trx. there is one tooth difference between thouse and the later yr (88-89) trx. (i beleive its 5th and 6th that r differernt) 85-86 engines are the same (atc or trx) 87 is a mixture of the early yrs and later yrs. then 88-89 are the same. (almost)
