Shifting question...

So i've been riding this thing for a month or so now, and im startin to notice that when im riding hard, im shifting without the clutch(up and down) like a dirtbike. anyone know if that does any harm? does it matter? thanks guys

some say it will some say it wont i say they put a clutch on their so why not be safe and just use it,if you bang a gear every now and again probably wont hurt it,but i like my bike and dont want to take the chance.jmo

i do it all the time racing xc and have not broke anything
