me and my dad want to fix up his 93 gmc sierra 1500 sle but dont really know anything about it. I would like to put maybe a 4 or 5 inch lift with maybe 30 or so inch tires. And is there anything to do to the engine because it is still running but has 157,000 miles and is due for a update. Is there a good truck website with forums or people to help me along in the process of fixing up the truck? thanks.

you wont need a lift with 30" tires ive ran 33"bfgs on my 92 for awhile just had to turn the torsion bars up some
