Help me build a race worthy EX

ok im trying to turn my stock EX into a race worthy EX. so far plans are:

E-series exhaust(hopefully find an S/O or full system on ebay) but im not sure which E-series, chaparell has several different E-series listed. could anyone shed some light there?

then im thinking stage2/stage3 hotcams along with a bigger carb and a K&N intake.

cant decide on engine bore either 426 w/ stroker crank or a 440 w/ stroker crank...not to concerned that'll be in awhile.

as for suspension im thinking 450R front shocks(dont know about rear)

and extended arms/axel, but again that will wait.

do shocks and arms FIRST then get your motor work done.;)



do you run MX or XC?

not really anything. but if i had to say, it would be XC. the park i ride at has an MX track for quads, but no organized racing. so id be race friends on it, then for the most part would be trail racing.

thats why the shocks and A-arms are coming later. plus with the predator i ride/race with suspension isnt an issue, its having the power out of corners.

DONT GET THE WHITE BROS!!!!! POS!Get like a hmf,sparks or lrd. Get a stage 3 cam for mx,2 for mx and xc,1 for xc.I would get a je 416 10:8:1.That's what i'm goin with and maybe a carb.Good luck!!

Aren't the best performance but still good and 2/3 of them fall apart or crack.It's ur quad.

Get an HMF exhaust. Then look in to some suspension mods before you mess with the motor...

if you put a 440 on there make sure you get a carb for maximum horsepower.
