Do i need new shocks?

i have heard that stock shocks wear out after awhile,so i was wondering i have had stock shocks for 4 years now,so i was wondering if i needed new shocks?

depends on what you are doing, after 4 years i would say yes just cause the oil/nitrogen mix breaks down and all you are relying on is your springs. if they still feel good to you and you are not racing or jumping, ride them till you need to upgrade or have them rebuilt. my rear shock is stock and hasnt been touched in three years(stock installation)and it is still good.

All shocks will wear after a while. If you can afford it go with after market shocks, I'll really like the difference.
