I am trying to get a pipe that will work best with XC racing. I have tried a TC pipe and Curis sparks pipe and I still can't do it. I have a HRC kit, Pro Design filter and the pipes. I want the bike to be able to go into a 180 (Hairpin) degree turn in 2nd gear and and pull hard out of the turn not touching the clutch. Is this possible??? By the way I run 14/38 gearing and weigh 240 in gear. I would like to stick with the gearing.

call alba. tell them the cardio stack guys sent you. you will love their pipe. i have gone through several myself and just got this one and it is great for xc. if you tell them we sent you, you will get a discount. also drop your front sprocket too a 13 tooth, or get the hot cams stage 2 cam it's more of a mid too low cam then the top end happy hrc

Ok, with what you are saying about not using the clutch going in to a 180 deg corner, sounds like you need to install the REKLUSE clutching system. We are running a Sparks pipe, REKLUSE clutch, 13 tooth fron gear, 22" razor2s and this thing just gets up and goes when hammered! Clutch lets you come in hard to the corner, lock up the rear and back on the gas and not shift. It is GREAT!

I am not into the auto clutch thing. If I stall on a steep hill I want my bike to sit there. Thanks anyhow.

i am using stock gearing. I run 95 percent of the track in second and third most of the time. Almost never use first. When i come into a sharp corner, i just clutch in rev it up and dump it to come out. Always have enough to pull right out.

I went to 13/38 gearing and the bike pulls hard in second out of a tight turn when you are almost stopped. I guess that it isn't possible to do it without some major motor work or a big bore.

You were asking a lot with stock gearing and the HRC kit. If 13/38 is too low you can go to a 36 in the rear. It will have more lowend than stock but have more top end than just a 13 up front. I run a 13/38 and power out of turns and up hills with no run. If it does happen to bog a slip of the clutch and the power is right there.
