Weird Motor Noise???

i have had my 2002 400ex for 6 weeks or so and ever since day one at a cold low idle it has a mettalic ticking noise seems like from the lower crankcase! i have been told by two dealerships that this is normal and will go away after break in and my frist oil change! but im broke in and the first oil change was day before yesterday! it is still doing it! its only when the motor is cold and only at idle! help!

YOur OK cheif,, I'm sure it's the normal noise that all 400ex's and owners ask about.

thanks rico i figured that but wasnt sure! it just sounds awfull sometimes like the damn thing wants to throw a rod or something lol!
