FCR carb cable install???

I just purchased an FCR 39 carb kit from Sudco for our 400ex. The kit included a push pull throttle cable and a twist throttle assembly. The problem is that I do not want to run a twist and want to keep running my thumb throttle. How do I go about this? What do I need to make it work? Any help would be great.
