I'm 6'7'' and 225 and my R is just fine for me. You will need some higher bend handlebars and/or a longer steering stem than stock.

As for the power, my 265r is able to make the tires spin on asphalt, so I think it's ok :macho

IMO just by looking, yfz's are a little smaller, and the R power is actually a little better(<-and thats not from just looking)

Ive seen some pretty big dudes on R's... and the 1's that knew how to ride were just as fast as the rest..

I 6'4 and 185lbs. I dont have trouble on the R. I find it a lot more comfortable to sit on rather then the 400ex, or yfz. However, I do have a +1 stem. You dont have to worry power-wise, because none of the new factory quads can compare. Havent riden a trx450 so I cant compare that. IMO you CANNOT find a better performance platform then the 250r for the price of them. For the price of the new breed of quads, you can find a pro level R and leave your mind at rest.

Im A pretty fat dude at 250lbs and I get around just fine on a 250R. At 6'4" I might consider a +1 stem

go for it, I'm a big dude and love my R. like the rest said, being 6'4 you might want to look for a taller stem and possibly the ac nerfs that move the the peg location down and back 1'' for a little leg room.
