Hey i'm gettin a JE 416 PISTON and it's 10:8:1 compression.Anyways I've heard with some gaskets It lowers the compression and some it makes it the true 10:8:1 compression.Well which ones lower it and which make it the true compression?

I'm pretty sure you can't get the exact compression with just the gasket. Go with a cometic or stock gasket.

c&d racing sells a custom gasket kit which ive heard is the best thing to go with. Thats what i ordered. Colby also claims that with this one you will not have to go back and retorque the head but i think it would be a good idea anyway.

Im gonna call him monday and ask him about the compression thing cause he may have already have these new gaskets made a little thinner to give it more compression.
