crank is stuck in left case

how do you get the crank out of the left case 1/2?? it is stuck. does it need pressed out???

Put in a oven at 250 deg. for an hour it will bump right out!

can i heat it with a propain torch??

A propane torch will work as well. I usually heat it for about 5 minutes, then support the cases and then bump it out with a rubber mallet.

will i have this much trouble putting it back together, or will the crank go right in the new bearing??

I just heated both case halves in the oven and put the crank in the freezer for a few minutes and it just slides right together.
