weird clutch

when I have the clutch fully disengaged(lever pulled to the grip) it still wants to move a little bit. like it's not fully disengaged. then when I go to engage it (let the lever out) it doesn't fully engage until about 3/4's the way out. I would think that it would try to engage instantly since it's not fully disengaged. what causes this?

is it properly adjusted?cable worn?your clutch basket is probably grooved thats what causing it not release completely

nothing to worry about. mines been doing it since it was bran new. its normal
