i went to check my brake pads the other day and only one of the 2 bolts that hole the brake calipers in would come out the other is completely stripped, since it is only threaded for like a cm could i take a drill bit and drill that out and hammer the smooth pin like part out or what would you recommend? thanks

man... I just went thru this a couple weeks ago...

Best thing to do is take a propane torch and heat up the pin area, I stripped my pins also and had to pound in a 7/32 hex bit and used a 1/4 wrench to back them out w/... it worked!

But... I had a problem w/ 1 of the guide pins rusting the sleave to it, If yours is ok... and you do end up getting them out, just be sure to lube the guide pins and use some anit-seize on the pad pins

Good luck to you w/ it!
